BRIEF
Redesign an existing online store for an auto parts retailer. The original website was overloaded with unnecessary code, which significantly slowed down performance. Users struggled to navigate the site, leading to frustration and a loss of interest—and ultimately, potential customers.
WHAT I DID
As the web designer on the team, I proposed several key improvements. The redesigned website features a clearer visual hierarchy, making the content easier to read and navigate. A modern template was also implemented to build a more scalable WooCommerce system, allowing for a broader product range to be added efficiently in the future. Finally, I coordinated the creation of a new set of product photographs to enhance the overall visual appeal of the site.
RESULT
Visitors can now easily find information about the brand and navigate smoothly from the homepage to the purchase page without distractions. For example, we removed visually overwhelming animations that previously hindered the user experience. The website’s load time was significantly reduced, resulting in a smoother browsing experience and improved user retention. Finally, the redesigned site directly supports the company’s primary goal: increasing sales.
